CAN I RENT THE HALL AND PROVIDE MY OWN CATERER?
Yes. You are more than welcome to provide your own caterer, but they will have limited access to the available kitchen facilities without a kitchen use addendum.
DO YOU PROVIDE IN HOUSE CATERING FOR HALL RENTAL EVENTS?
Yes, we can provide the catering for your event. Speak with the manager about your event size and menu preferences and they can give you specific costs.
IS ALCOHOL PERMITTED IN THE HALL FOR MY RENTAL?
Yes.
If you choose to provide your own alcohol, you must provide proof of a single day $1 million liability insurance policy for the event. This can easily be added to an existing homeowners or renters' policy. Talk to your personal insurance agent about the cost for this.
If you would like us to provide the alcohol for your event, keep in mind that we only have a specific number of Special Liquor Licenses available each year. Your manager can take your request to the Post officers for approval. If you are approved for a Special Liquor License for your event, you will be required to pay the fees associated with the acquisition of the fee no less than 60 days in advance, and you will be responsible for the bartenders rate of pay for the duration of your scheduled event plus one hour for their set-up and clean-up time.
IS IT POSSIBLE FOR THE POST TO PROVIDE A SERVER FOR MY EVENT?
Yes. You will be responsible for the server's rate of pay for the duration of your scheduled event plus one hour for their set-up and clean-up time.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO PAY AN ADDITIONAL FEE FOR THE POST TO PROVIDE THE CLEAN UP FOR MY EVENT?
Yes. If you choose to sign the Post Clean up addendum, there will be an additional fee associated based upon the size of your event.
IS MY EVENT TIME LIMITED TO THE OPEN HOURS OF THE POST?
No. If you wish to start your event early or stay later than the post open hours you must notify the manager at the time of your contract signing. There will be a fee associated with extended hours, depending on the duration after normal operating hours.
CAN I HAVE A BAND OR DJ AT MY EVENT IN THE HALL?
Yes. Keep in mind volume levels must comply with Township laws and guidelines. Their attendance
IS THERE A FEE FOR ADDITIONAL SET UP TIME?
Not Necessarily. Reservations are for the entirety of the day. If you need to set up the day prior, it is subject to availability and may be restricted by other reservations.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO RENT ONLY THE KITCHEN TO PREPARE FOOD FOR AN EVENT AT ANOTHER LOCATION?
No. The kitchen is only available for rent as an addendum to a Hall Rental contract.
